The information event was very well attended with around 170 participants, making it a successful start to the year 2025. The first registrations for various part-time programmes were received that same evening. A total of 13 information events on all part-time Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes as well as individual university certificates at OTH Regensburg took place via online meetings.
Those responsible for the degree programmes presented the course content and were available to answer individual questions. In addition, current students and alumni joined in to talk about their experiences, the prospects and challenges of studying part-time.
Feasible even with full-time employment
Part-time students want to advance their careers, but family and private life should not be neglected either. The degree programmes are structured in such a way that lectures take place in the form of block weeks as well as evening and weekend sessions. Small study groups also enable optimal learning conditions and intensive support from the lecturers.
Study without A-levels
A high level of practical relevance is also taken into account in the part-time degree programmes, so that the theoretical knowledge acquired can be immediately applied in professional practice. By opening up access to higher education to those with vocational qualifications, it is not only high school graduates who can enrol on a degree programme; with completed vocational training and relevant professional experience, you can also be admitted to a Bachelor's degree programme without a high school diploma.
