Classes & entrepreneurial theory

The Start-up Center offers various courses, workshops and summer academies on the topic of start-ups and entrepreneurship. Most courses are offered as AW courses or FW courses. As a student, you can choose most of them freely. The portfolio of courses varies according to the current semester. It is only possible to take part in workshops once.

The next Gründerferienakademie will take place from 10-14.03.2025. Registration is possible from 01.01. - 19.01.2025 via WebUntis.

Certificates and additional training

The Engineer as an Entrepreneur

For advanced students of technical courses, including architecture and computer sciences.

This additional training equips technical students with entrepreneurial knowledge.

The aims of this additional training are:

  • Promote entrepreneurial thinking and action
  • Explain the business aspects of setting up a company
  • Teach business management for engineers
  • Train entrepreneurial action in the start-up situation

You will receive the additional certificate if you successfully complete the following courses:

  • Course: Founding a Company I and II (in the summer semester) + Start-up Academy (in the winter semester 24/25) or Basic Knowledge of Entrepreneurial Thinking and Acting (in the winter semester 24/25)
