We will provide you with a broad-based qualification for a specialist or management career in human resource management. We cover all areas of human resource management such as recruiting, HR development and compensation.

You will acquire the relevant knowledge about labour laws, but also know-how in the areas of health management and HR controlling. We will also hone your methodological skills ready for professional life.

After completing your studies, you will be able to accompany and implement change processes in organisations. You will carry out targeted evaluation processes and draw the right conclusions for further HR management measures.

Strengths of the degree programme

  • Interdisciplinary and cooperative: Our professors are experts with practical experience in different fields and disciplines. This interdisciplinary expertise reflects both the reality of human resource management and the composition of the student body. At the Regensburg study location, we combine the HR management knowledge of the three universities OTH Regensburg, the Deggendorf Institute of Technology and OTH Amberg-Weiden in our cooperative degree programme.
  • Up-to-date and highly competent: Our teaching content is always practice-oriented and current. The close link between university and industry ensures that the content and concepts are up-to-date. Joint practical projects teach strong teamwork skills and promote the transfer of knowledge among students. All lecturers have multiple years of relevant professional experience, some in leadership roles within human resource management.
  • Perfect study conditions: All modules in the Master's in Human Resource Management are offered exclusively for this degree programme. This means that you remain in a fixed group of around 30 students in a permanently assigned seminar room throughout your studies. We have bundled the courses for you from Monday to Wednesday. This leaves you free to allocate your time and complete the numerous individual and group projects on the remaining weekdays.
