FAQ

  • No, with the exception of the USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. However, in most cases they offer more favourable special conditions.


  • You can apply for ERASMUS+ if you have been accepted by your partner university and ideally have a signed Learning Agreement. All documents must be submitted to the International Office no later than before your departure. The sooner you submit your documents to us, the sooner you will receive your first funding instalment.


  • ERASMUS+ is not dependent on grades or income. You only need to submit your documents on time and in full.


  • Often, depending on the partner. For more information, see the interactive world map on our website.


  • For English-language programmes always English at B2 level; in Spain and South America also Spanish at A2/B1-B2 level.

    There are two ways to obtain a language certificate:

    1. You attend a regular language course at the OTH Regensburg or you have successfully completed a course in English (e.g. Technical English 1, Business English 1, specialised English (IT)).

  • No! It is possible to study in English almost everywhere, with the exception of Spain and South America, where you need and have to prove your knowledge of Spanish.
