The Extended University Directorate consists of the university management, the deans of the eight faculties and the women's representative of the university. It is chaired by the President.
The tasks of the Extended University Directorate are, in particular, the preparation of the university's development plan and decisions on the organization of the university into faculties. The deans are to directly represent the research and teaching interests of the individual faculties; the same applies to the Women's Representative with regard to the promotion of women in science.
