External networking
QM-specific topics and best practices are exchanged in various external collaborations and working groups. They serve as a basis for the further development of the university's own quality management system. The universities of Fulda and Darmstadt initiated a nationwide working group for quality management officers (QMB) at universities of applied sciences and universities. The participants regularly exchange knowledge and experience with other QMBs and jointly develop nationwide quality standards. A regular exchange takes place with the Bavarian State Institute for Higher Education Research and Planning (IHF) to coordinate and further develop the Bavarian Graduate Study (BAS). The Bavarian Center for Innovative Teaching (BayZiel) organizes numerous training events to continuously improve university didactics at all Bavarian universities of applied sciences. Each member university nominates a didactics mentor to the BayZiel as the central contact person for the respective university.
A local CEUS working group regularly coordinates the further development of internal reporting on student and examination statistics. The Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts, the Scientific Institute for Higher Education Software at the University of Bamberg (ihb), the Coordination Office for Data Processing in Higher Education Administration at Bavarian State Universities of Applied Sciences (KDV-FH) and all Bavarian universities of applied sciences are represented.
OTH Regensburg also maintains an informal bilateral exchange with other universities in the field of quality management. External impulses are obtained by attending conferences and meetings of working groups outside the university. In particular, the forum for system-accredited universities organized by Münster University of Applied Sciences should be mentioned here, in which the QuO staff regularly participate. Furthermore, the Quality Management Officer and employees of the QuO staff unit regularly take part in the working group for quality management officers at universities.
