Nomination and Application

1. Application at your Home University
   Students who want to come to the OTH Regensburg for an exchange semester need to apply at their home institution first. Please contact the International Office at your home university for further information about the application process and deadlines.
2. Nomination by the Partner University
   After successfully applying at your home university, they will nominate you in our online platform via the following link:
   
   https://www.service4mobility.com/europe/LoginServlet?identifier=REGENSB02
   
   We will send you further information about the application process at the OTH around the nomination deadline (November 15 for summer semester and May 1 for winter semester).
3. Application at the OTH Regensburg
   The application will be done entirely on our online platform Mobility Online. Please note that we can only accept applications that have been completed by the application deadline: June 1 for winter semester/ December 1 for summer semester.
   
   You will receive a link to our online platform with your login information once your nomination has been checked and accepted by us.

   
   Step 1:

   As a first step students have to fill in some personal information on Mobility Online, the OTH Regensburg’s online application platform. In addition, the application documents (see below) have to be uploaded.

    

   Step 2:

   Complete the application for student accommodation by June 1/ December 1.

   Please be aware that late applications cannot be accepted since the International Office administrates the dorms and does NOT own them.

   Step 3:

   Create a learning agreement with your preliminary course choice by June 1/ December 1.
   The list of courses taught in English at the OTH Regensburg will help you.
   
   Students participating in the ERASMUS+ programme:

   - Online Learning Agreement if provided by your home university.
   - Alternatively: Please enter the courses in the appropriate section in your Mobility Online profile.
   
   Students participating in other partnership programmes: Please enter the courses in the appropriate section in your Mobility Online profile. 
4. Official Acceptance OTH Regensburg
   You will receive an information package via e-mail ca. in mid-June or mid-December including the following documents:
   
   - Letter of acceptance issued by the OTH Regensburg
   - Additional information about your exchange stay
   - Information about the payment of the fees
5. Finalizing the Application Process
   Once you have completed the steps mentioned below, the application process has been completed:
   
   Sign the following documents and upload them in your Mobility Online profile:
   
   - Declaration of Consent
   - Download the Learning Agreement, sign it, have it signed by your home university and upload it for signing by the OTH Regensburg
   
   Payment of fees

Please submit the following documents for your application:

• Scan of passport (pdf)
• Profile photo for your student ID (NO selfies)
• Proof of valid health insurance
• Transcript of records
• Proof of language skills
• Preliminary course choice = Learning Agreement "before the mobility“
• Application for Housing

To follow lectures held in German, we require a minimum of B2 German language level for the application. To follow courses taught in English, a minimum level of B2 in English is required.

If you only choose English-taught lectures, we do recommend a B1 German language level, but we do not require it for the application.
