TOTAL E-QUALITY award for the OTH Regensburg

  • Since 1997, Total E-Quality Deutschland e.V. has presented annual awards to all kinds of organisations that are committed to equal opportunities. Total E-Quality Management (composed of Total Quality Management and Equality) is a personnel management system that is oriented towards gender on the one hand, and increasingly towards the different life situations and perspectives of employees on the other. The rating is based on a voluntary self-check and is awarded for three years.

    Every year, the association awards the "Total-E-Quality" rating for exemplary action in terms of personnel management geared towards equal opportunities. Total-E-Quality is recommended by renowned public figures (board of trustees) and by the German government.


  • The association "Total E-QUALITY e. V." was founded by representatives of large German companies with the support of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. Together with companies, universities, research organisations and associations, the association stands for the creation of a work culture that enables talented people from all backgrounds to enter and advance. Particular attention is paid to linking gender-specific aspects with a wide range of personal and social characteristics. Such an intersectional approach aims to reduce the influence of (gender) stereotypes and to expand non-discriminatory, inclusive organisational structures.


  • The application is based on a self-assessment questionnaire, which is reviewed by a jury. The award ceremony will take place in Frankfurt am Main on November 14, 2024.
