The Green Office supported a number of sustainable projects at the OTH

Campus greening workshop based on the Dillinger model

Our campus should become greener! In a pilot project based on the Dillinger model, OTH students worked together with the natural garden planners during the Immersion Workshop Week to develop a concept for greening the area between the buildings of the Faculties of Architecture and Mechanical Engineering. The project was supervised by Prof. Dr. Petra Liedl and Prof. Dr. Birgit Scheuerer.

Zero waste concepts and clean-up campaigns

At the campus festival in June 2024 on the grounds of OTH and the University of Regensburg, the Green Office supported Campus e.V. in developing and implementing a zero waste concept. In addition to a recycling and waste concept, a cooperation with "Viva con Agua" and a clean-up team, pocket ashtrays were distributed to prevent cigarette waste.

We also support campus clean-up days and other zero waste campaigns.

Clothing donation campaign for the homeless

Together with the Regensburg street workers, we called for clothing donations at the OTH StudHaus on December 6 and 7, 2023.
