Orientation criteria for funding

  • Project based at OTH (students/employees).
  • Reference to sustainability (cf. SDGs) and OTH values (cf. university development plan).
  • The project must be located in at least one of the following areas: study/ research1 / public welfare orientation / art, culture, music.
  • The project primarily serves the members of OTH.
  • The project is not a regular study/examination achievement. Exception: if the result is implemented and continued (at OTH); the implementation of specific measures is financially supported).
  • A personal contribution must be made to the project/implementation (not necessarily monetary).
  • No double funding of the same project (repeated funding is only possible in special cases).
  • Time limit (if longer-term projects are eligible for funding, a continuation concept must be submitted to show the extent to which the Green Office can provide long-term funding).
  • Funding gives priority to new projects.
  • Application must be completed in full and truthfully.
  • The project must not generate any monetary profit.
  • Costs incurred in general studies are excluded from funding.
  • In principle, there is no entitlement to funding.

Note: Funding for regular coursework and examinations (e.g. theses, projects) must be applied for by the examiner.
