For companies

The Center for Research and Transfer (ZFT) sees itself as a point of contact for companies and businesses from the region that are looking for cooperation opportunities in the field of research. Whether as part of contract research or laboratory services or as a cooperation partner in a publicly funded research project - companies can benefit from the scientific expertise and well-equipped research infrastructure of OTH Regensburg.

Fields of cooperation

  • As part of these research projects, partners from science and industry work together on a problem with the aim of gaining new scientific knowledge. The projects receive funding from international or national public funding bodies (e.g. DFG, BMBF, EU, foundations). More info


  • As part of contract research, a company places a research or development order with a university. The company determines the specific scope of services and bears the costs. It benefits from the university's scientific qualifications and infrastructure (e.g. well-equipped laboratories). More info


  • A company commissions series of measurements, material/substance tests, expert opinions, feasibility studies, customer satisfaction analyses, consulting services, etc. from the university. The university applies established findings and known methods. The company benefits from the university's well-equipped infrastructure with laboratories and existing know-how. More info

Research infrastructure

Laboratories

In the laboratory overviews of the individual faculties you will find the respective research areas and the relevant contact persons. There are no laboratories in the Faculty of Business and Management.

Transfer facilities

Here you will find OTH Regensburg facilities that focus on knowledge transfer and technology transfer between science, business, society and politics. These offer a wide range of cooperation opportunities for industrial partners, SMEs and other colleges and universities.
