Getting to Know Today's China

Christoffer Faderl, a student in the bachelor's degree programme Business Studies at the OTH Regensburg, has been selected for the Summer University of the Bavarian University Center for China (BayCHINA). Together with other students from all over Bavaria, he will travel to Qingdao in China for four weeks in August to gain a differentiated insight into today's China through a multifaceted programme. In addition to lectures, seminars and workshops, the programme also includes a language course and excursions to Chinese and international companies. At a three-day kick-off meeting in Bayreuth at the beginning of May, he has already received a cultural crash course, got to know the other fellow travellers and learned more about the programme. "I'm delighted that BayCHINA is giving me the opportunity to get to know this fascinating country and experience this completely different culture first-hand," Faderl says.
